Alamance Burlington School System
The Alamance-Burlington School System (ABSS) provides quality public education to more than 22,000 students in 19 elementary, 7 middle and 7 high schools, and 1 alternative school. ABSS students consistently score above state averages in a number of scholastic categories, and faculty members have received numerous state and national awards for teaching excellence.

Career & Technical Education Center
As part of the Alamance Burlington School System, a new Career & Technical Education Center opened for students Fall 2011. The new center serves approximately 1,000 students with up to 250 at the school at one time. Students will come from their high schools to attend courses such as culinary arts, video gaming, digital media and video production, electrical trade, network administration and scientific and technical visualization.
