Honda Aero Expansion
Around 100 people attended the Honda Aero groundbreaking ceremony on April 19, including Honda Aero President, Atsukuni Waragai. The company announced a 50,000-square-foot, $21 million expansion that will include additional office and manufacturing space for the turbofan, HF120 jet engines. The company plans to hire an additional 20-30 people over the next few years, bringing total employment at the Burlington facility to around 125. Honda Aero first announced locating its headquarters and jet engine manufacturing facility in Burlington in 2007.
